I was it Innsbrook (a weekend resort type property we used to own as a )and went by our old place. For some reason, I was riding a bike. They had a boat and new dock. Funny thing is, it was not on a lake when we owned it. We were off the water. I went down a little further and then turned around and came back and all of a sudden the people that bought it were there. I was going to say hi but I was on the phone with Christy ended up just moving on. I never met them when they bought it so I’m not sure why I was going to say hi. Then I ended up riding down a trail with a bunch of kids in front of me. I remember thinking, I have no idea where this trail goes. I hope I don’t get lost. It went from pavement to gravel and then we ended up riding our bikes into some sort of area that was inside. Even though it was inside, we rode our bikes up a landscape wall. Then these kids that must’ve been only three or four years old, rode their bikes down a very steep ramp and just crashed into each other at the bottom and then started laughing and having a good time. I was so impressed that these kids went off such a steep ramp that I was trying to take a picture of it to show Christy, but for some reason it could never get the shot. All of a sudden, my sister Michele was there, but the rest of that part is a blur. Then my brother and Hollie were there and at one point I was walking with my brother Mark and he handed me a paper. I can’t remember what it said, but it has something to do with “Would you do that to someone else”? It was something that wasn’t necessarily nice. Kind of like talking negative to yourself or something like that. Then he just looked at me and said then why do you do it to yourself? I believe he was referring to me continuing the on and off cycle with my girlfriend Christy. The way that I took it in the dream is that he was saying why do you put yourself through all of this emotional torture. Be kind to yourself and move on. He didn’t necessarily say that specifically but that’s what I remember thinking.
This dream holds a tapestry of themes related to nostalgia, self-reflection, and emotional awareness. Let's break it down:
Overall, this dream paints a picture of a reflective journey through changes you cannot control (the property), paths you've yet to understand fully (the trail with children), and unresolved feelings towards yourself and your relationships (the paper handed by Mark). Your internal dialogue is urging you to treat yourself with kindness and potentially reconsider persistent emotional cycles. It's a call for embracing change and finding peace with your inner self, paralleling acceptance of the transitions observed in your dream setting.
